Description:

Rust Rescue 200 is a high quality blend of chemicals formulated for the protection of stainless steel and other metal surfaces in conjunction with CitriSurf passivation, especially in environments where moisture and harsh atmospheric chemicals are expected to or have lead to corrosion.

Packaging:

1 quart, 1 gallon, 55 gallon metal containers, or 12 oz. trigger sprayer cans.

Application Procedure:

Remove any existing rust first with a rust remover such as CitriSurf 77 Plus or CitriSurf 2310, using the procedure recommended for that product. Then allow surface to dry completely before applying Rust Rescue. All equipment, mixers, applicators or pumps should be clean and dry prior to use.

Prior to use, mix thoroughly by shaking or stirring. Apply a light coat of Rust Rescue 200 the surface to be protected with a clean soft cloth, sprayer, brush or roller. Coverage is approximately 300 square feet per gallon. Wait approximately 2 to 3 minutes and then wipe off the excess product. Allow the surface to dry completely in air. Drying can be accelerated by use of a hot air oven or other drying medium such as an air blower (hair dryer).

Notes on Use:

Although very safe in normal use, Rust Rescue 200 is a Calcium sulfonate based material, and as such it may cause irritation to exposed surfaces of the body for some persons. See Material Safety Data Sheet before using this material. Rubber or plastic gloves should be worn to apply the product to the surface or to wipe it dry.

Disposal:

Dispose of according to all federal, state and local regulations.

Storage:

Rust Rescue 200 should be stored at temperatures between 50°F and 120°F in steel or aluminum containers.
